- Heat-shrinkable reinforced composite
splice closure for unpressurised cables;
aerial, buried or ducted, non-filled or
jelly filled, with polyethylene, lead,
steel, or aluminum sheaths.
- Composite structure of the closure
offers superior resistance to mechanical
abuse during and after the installation.
- Integrated moisture barrier completely
reconstitutes the cable sheath construction
in the closure.
- Hot melt adhesive forms a watertight
seal to the cable sheath.
- Metal cannister shapes and protects
the splice bundle.
- Up to 4 cables at each end can be accommodated
using three finger clips with hot-melt
adhesive.
- Heat sensitive paint on the external
sleeve surface changes color when sufficient
heat is applied.
- Extended size range can accommodate
splices up to 3600 pair with any connector
type.
