Diversity at Raychem RPG


Vision

The D&I Charter defines its Vision, “To bring balance in at RPG by including equal women workforce, people with disabilities and different nationalities.”

The journey on Gender Diversity has been remarkable with women taking more and more leadership & management roles in several business functions, traditionally held by men.

To align with the vision of D&I Charter, COE adopted the ADMIRE framework, Acquire, Develop, Motivate, Involve, Retain, Empower. Several initiatives taken at Raychem RPG has led to incremental diversity growth.

Way Forward

In 2018, Raychem RPG has engaged in hiring people with disabilities, thus providing support in building an inclusive culture.

In October it welcomed the first batch of 13 employees with hearing and speech impairments at their Halol Plant.

D&I Workshop for Council Members

The D&I Workshop for Council Members was held in July this year attended by selected members from all RPG Group Cos. The workshop included discussions and finalization of plans at company level to foster D&I for this fiscal. It provided members the opportunity to build ownership and create enthusiasm amongst them.

Virtual Job Fair for Women

In association with Career Connect, RPG and many other Companiescame together to hold a 2- day virtual Job Fair for Women. Besides branding RPG as a strong supporter of women diversity, it created a diverse talent pool. Career Connect identified over 200,000 + prospective women candidates for openings in several companies all over India. RPG published 25 openings in different functions across all the group companies.

Inclusion Session at Raychem RPG – Changing Mindset at Halol Plant

A session was organized at Raychem RPG’s Halol Plant in sensitizing members of thewomen working shoulder to shoulder with other members in the Plant.As always, watch this space for more diversity and inclusion matters at RPG.
