Setting benchmarks of innovations and technological advancements, one such engineering excellence is Heat shrinkable wrap-around sleeve, which is designed for corrosion protection of girth weld joint buried steel pipeline, especially for 3LPE/DFBE/FBE/CTE factory applied coating.

Construction Three Layer System
First Layer Two-component, solvent-free Liquid epoxy
Second Layer High shear strength, Hot-melt copolymer adhesive
Third Layer Radiation cross-linked, high density polyethylene with Shrink Indicator pattern.

After surface preparation and pre-heating first layer of Liquid epoxy is applied on the pipe surface. Then a heat shrinkable sleeve is wrapped around the pipe joint over wet epoxy. Heat is then applied on the sleeve which start shrink to give excellent tight fit around the pipe joint. Epoxy forms strong mechanical and chemical bond to pipe and Second Layer of the hot-melt copolymer adhesive. Third layer radiation cross linked high density polyethylene provides Mechanical protection for moisture, heat and any damages.

as cut piece (pre-cut sleeve with separate closure patch)
as a roll (closure patches to be ordered seprately)

Select sleeve width that will overlap onto the mill-applied coating by 2 inches (50 mm) minimum on each side of the weld joint

Sleeve width (mm): 18", 20", 24" Other width (10"-36") are available, as per customer special requirement.
