Heat-shrinkable busbar insulation tubing. Busbar heat-shrinkable tubing are suitable for use on long runs of rectangular or round busbars. The tubing shrinks down to 40% of their original diameter and, due to excellent flexibility, conform tightly to a wide range of sizes. BBIT/BPTM tubing can be slid easily into place, even around several bends and awkward shapes. The wall thickness is controlled by heat-shrink process. Customized covers can be made simply and economically by vacuum forming non-shrinkable sheet material. Installation is very simple often with no need to disconnect busbars. BCIC covers are held in place with UV-stabilized plastic nuts and bolts, rivets or tie-wraps, and can be easily removed for maintenance, or else sealed with Raychem sealing mastic. Suitable for applications up 36 kV. Rigid Red Barrier Board (RRBB) is a non-structural, interphase barrier for switchgear applications. The RRBB board has excellent track resistance, especially following a power-arc. It can be easily fabricated into a shape; produces less nuisance dust and less tooling wear than other boards.

Medium Voltage Heat Shrink/ Fusion tapes. HVBT heat-shrinkable tape is ideal for use on complex shapes and where busbars cannot be disconnected. HVBT tape shrinks 30% longitudinally and an adhesive layer flows and seals the layers of tape during installation. As with the other components in the system, the adhesive does not bond to metalwork, allowing easy removal for inspection and maintenance. Available in four widths from 25 mm to 100 mm. A spiral formed tape is also available for ease of use on overhead conductors. MVFT is a self-amalgamating tape providing insulation enhancement and protection against accidentally induced discharge. Quick and easy to install, upon application the tape amalgamates the overlapped layers together, producing a complete seal.

MV Surge Arrester upto 45kV for substation protection from lightening and switching over voltages. In past 15 years, almost all high-voltage networks used MO arresters. However, in medium-voltage networks, a substantial number of conventional gapped arresters (SiC resistors and series spark gaps) were installed until a few years ago. Today MO (Metal-Oxide) arresters without spark gaps have gained popularity. Networks require improved protection level and better performance in polluted environments. The switch to polymeric housings made it possible to do without the previously necessary spark gaps. Polymeric housings are reliable against ingress of moisture and provide minimal risk of failures (violent shattering of the housing). MVSA are manufactured using high quality MOV blocks which display excellent thermal and current handling characteristics due to guaranteed homogeneity of the varistor volume.  In the wrap design surge arresters, the MOV blocks are wrapped with fiberglass ribbons impregnated with epoxy resin to create stacks of MOV blocks.
